Led the full Adobe XD to Figma transition, eliminating slow design builds, unsynced components, and lack of real-time collaboration, unlocking a faster, more consistent design workflow across the team.
Rebuilt core components from scratch and through refactoring, prioritising components with the highest discrepancy rates across products. Established short and long-term milestones with Design and Engineering Managers to keep the system scaling strategically.
Overhauled the product’s legacy illustration style, delivering a refreshed visual language that brought consistency and a new look and feel across the product.
How I Shaped The Product
As Design Systems Lead, I drove the XD to Figma migration for a team of 16+ designers, rebuilt the design system from v2 to v3, and refreshed the product’s illustration language. As the sole designer on the systems team, I balanced auditing legacy components, discovering new use cases, and expanding the library, all while supporting rapid UX work across the product.
