About Ekemini

I am a Plant Dad*, Hybrid Athlete (Flag & CrossFit), Chef, Creative Director, and Style Connoisseur. The one in the friend group to spearhead the nights out, the group trips, grocery runs, everything in between and still has room for more.

I began my career as an illustrator, did a little frontend engineering, and over time switched to UX design with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. I have focused on crafting great digital experiences in the finance space for the past few years, and I am now designing AI-powered experiences across different verticals.

I am best fit for roles that let me obsessively dabble between core product craft & UX thinking, design systems, and crazy good-looking UI. Always happy to own a pod within a large org or be a founding designer at a small startup. I’m also dabbling in design engineering, bringing ideas to life directly in code. I’m comfortable working with agents to build, prototype, and refine interfaces, moving between design decisions and implementation as I figure out what feels right. Let’s talk.
